SPIRO MOUND

The Spiro Mound Collection in the Museum and Historical Sketch of the Spiro Mound

E. K. Burnett and Forrest E. Clements - 1930

2010 Reprint Edition

Since the original Spiro Mound amateur excavations resulted in the scattering of the contents into numerous private collections, the Heye Museum of the American Indian produced this publication to catalog the objects that were acquired by the museum. Also included is an historical sketch of the Spiro Mound by Forrest E. Clements.

The materials used for the manufacture of these exquisite artifacts include stone, copper, wood, cane and shell.

This 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" soft cover, facsimile reprint contains 220 pages including the 94 full page plates and descriptions.  $16.95
